In the cheese shops you will see the sheep “latxa”, the native breed of Euskadi and learn how the shepherd dogs guide the herds through the mountain. You will also learn about the process of making the famous Idiazabal Designation of Origin Cheese as well as tasting it.
This activity includes the visit to the cheese factory as well as explanations about herd care and the demonstration of shepherd dog skills.
